The Courseulles-sur-Mer Offshore wind farm project, with Fécamp, Saint-Nazaire et Saint Brieuc, has  been selected by the government after  a national tender.

The project of Courseulles-sur-mer , presented at the public debate taking place between 20 march and20 July 2013, involves the construction of 75 offshore wind turbines each with a capacity of 6 MW, generating a total energy output of 450 MW. They  will be built between 6 and 10 miles off the Calvados coast, near Courseulles-sur-Mer.
